The Myth of CEOs Becoming "Less Busy" Over Time
It is tiring coming across articles and various content on twitter that suggest that CEOs should be “less” busy over time. Pardon my french, but it’s truly bullshit.

I am fired up today, and apologies in advance for the following rant.
CEOs are very busy people. Founders are very busy people.
It is tiring coming across articles and various content on twitter that suggest that CEOs should be “less” busy over time.
Pardon my french, but it’s truly bullshit.

If CEOs aren’t pouring their heart and minds into their businesses, then what are they doing?
The main role of a CEO, in my opinion, is to make sure the right people are in the right seats and then get out of the way and let them work towards executing on the vision of the company. But just because a CEO is not in the weeds of the day to day doesn’t mean that the CEO shouldn’t constantly be busy.
I happen to be a CEO, and I never stop. Maybe I should, but I would be doing my company a disservice if I did. Other CEOs I know are as busy in their late years as they were in their early years.
I just hate reading this kind of stuff. Sorry for the rant.
Thanks for reading. Until next time.

Not knowing what the future may have in store, I would think that resting on one's laurels, or just coasting, would not be a good idea.
